The main category of the 15th Arbella International Photography Contest is "Nature and Humanity". Humans came from nature, and we will always be a part of it. Sometimes, we are able to achieve peaceful harmony with the beautiful gift of nature, while at other times, we struggle against its power. The theme "Nature and Humanity" invites participants to explore this ancient relationship. From the serenity of a person walking through a forest, to hands labouring in a field; from the delicate bonds between nature and urban life, to the human desire to test their limits through nature, this broad subject offers participants the opportunity to create visually and narratively powerful stories. The impact of nature on humans—and vice-versa—will be reflected through the power of photography in this contest. Our second category is “Scenes From the Kitchen”. A kitchen is not just a place where food is prepared, but also a space where cultures, traditions, and memories blend. Every kitchen around the world carries its own unique identity—whether it's the warmth of a stone oven, shelves filled with colorful spices, or the story of dough being kneaded by hands at home, "Scenes From the Kitchen" invites participants to capture the atmosphere, details, and energies of kitchens through the power of photography.
